Default FD seats into FC

my mate has the standard seats from his FD that he is going to give me.
do they fit in an FC with no issues? and will the FD rails fit or will I need to use my FC rails?

to tide you over til someone has done it or knows for sure here is a massive thread on a guy building an fc drift car. he has installed (or tried to) fd seats into it. id love to help more but the thread is 52 pages long. you'll probably enjoy reading it though as he goes to town on it but i dont have time at the mo (at work) to go through it.

somewhere in the thread is your answer - this is your destiny (yeah i know wtf right!)

screw the 52 pages, heres a thread on the same question. sounds very doable, not a straight bolt in (bracket mods) and the fd seat sits high in an fc which is the same issue i had with my race seats i put in my fc.
may just have to rip it out and see for yourself. may pay to see if the fc rails line up with the fd seat as thats how i fit my race seat (with a small square tube to mod the rail)

you may be the first person to answer your simple question without all the bull$hit hearsay which would sure help others. keep us posted how you go though.

heres the thread, i only read a bit of it

given how easy it is to adapt a fc's seats to first gen, I'm only guessing but it's would be reasonably easy to get the fd's seats into a first gen too!
