Gday fellow rotorheads, I recently changed the alternator on my series 4 rx7 motor (revs were dropping significantly with any load, lights etc) the one I took off had a twin belt pulley on it but the second hand replacement part I've installed only has space for a single. I fitted it to the space on the crank pulley closest to the engine cover. The car runs ok and I'm not seeing the same problem with the lights. However I've now got a bit of splutter in the rev range like the ignition isn't firing that great, few pops etc. The volt reads around 13 in the car bit low still.
Could this be due to using a single belt rather than the twin like before?
If not I guess I'll just get the old one rebuilt.
Any advice would be awesome :)

Trying to find a series 3 rear beake caliper. Can have busted seals etc as long as the handbrake mechanism operates as I need to strip it for parts. Squished one of the bearings for the handbrake shaft when reassembling mine iand it isnt available as a gen or non gen spare part. Broke the RHR but either side will do.
Needed asap to get my car back on the road
