Inspection Help

hey everyone, so i may have finally found a daily rotor to trade my commodore for, a nice series 3 rx7! :D i was just wondering if any one would be keen to go along with me when i go to have a look at it, so that i can have someone with more knowledge/experience/mechanical skill eye the car over and tell me what they think as to whether its a good buy, as im still learning on what things to look out for when buying second hand cars. im not too sure when the inspection will be but it will be some time soon (in the next week) i hope. obviously ill pay you for your help or shout you some drinks, which ever you'd prefer :p the link to the car can be found at: http://www.rollaclub.com/board/index.php?showtopic=39313

Nice work Ryan, sounds the goods and am glad to hear you may have found a rotor ;) Unfortunately my mechanical knowledge in what to look for is probably too limited to be helpful to you but know there are some members on here with that knowledge who are more than willing to help out!

If no one is available over the Easter break etc. give Jason at REVS a call Tues on 8359 0500. He had a look over my car, did the compression test, and was really helpful with advice, etc when he looked over my car! I know they are busy atm but it is worth a shot.

thanks for that leigh, much appreciated. im just trying to get over the $$$ hurdle at the moment with the guy who owns the rx7. he said hes not keen to give me cash my way, which means im effectively lowering my price by $1500 which is something im not keen on doing when ive also been offered swaps for a ke25, ke55 and a mk3 turbo supra...
