Weren't you getting a rebuild? Wouldn't be driving it on boost untill it's bedded in :)

Yeah man, gotta run the engine in; the longer you run the engine in, the longer it will last...
I'd do at least 1000km on it ;)

how do you disconnect the turbo???you don't disconnect turbo, thats impossible. you just use the throttle to the point where your boost guage stays as close to zero as possible (impossible to never use boost when running in but definately dont go flooring it)
take jasons advice first as he is your engine builder, but i would suggest
my advice would be
100-500km-don't go past 4000rpm
do hills driving after 100km to help bed in
500-1000km-don't rev over 5000rpm (medium throttle)
1000-1500km (medium throttle)
change rpm (using gears etc) do not sit at one constant rev (freeway drive)
do not baby or cane it either just normal free revs to wear in. after 1500km - 2000km you can start to increase harder driving
everyones different at what they'll tell you but i would definately go with what your engine builder has said before what i have said though

you'll be laughing when it's all good and ready ;D
and if they did the "fuel cut" at 5000rpm or whatever, that would just act as a rev limiter to prevent you from accidently (or deliberately) mashing it ;D
