NEXT SA ROTORS MEET 10TH OF APRIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

so here it is.

what: another sa rotors dinner cruise and catch up
when: saturday evening APRIL THE 10TH
time: meet up 5.30 pm till whenever
where: Jimmies on the Summit
6 Main St, Crafers SA 5152
(08) 8339 1534‎

what we're going to do: meet up at burnside carpark 5.30pm (all the shoppers should be gone by then)
leave carpark onto portrush road.
turn right up greenhill rd.
follow greenhill rd all the way up (same as where we went last time)
turn right onto mount lofty summit road (also same as last time)
go all the way up summit road, past the turn off to go to mount lofty look out and you will be heading back down the hill towards the freeway.
turn left onto piccadilly road
and right there is jimmies restaurant
possible cruise afterwards depending on what people want to do. everyones cars should be ready by then, and couple of weeks notice to keep saturday night clear so no excuses!!!!
thanks to matt for the idea of location, and thanks to jesse for suggesting another meet (you can bring your rc car to this if the carparks big enough!!!

alright well we'll let this thread run till monday and if much more can't make it we'll shift it to the following weekend. im not too keen to sit in burnside carpark by myself.
just remember if these meets were that easy to organise they wouldn't be so rewarding when theyre pulled off well.

il ask dave to change the date for me if we need to but by the 3rd it'll be 7 weeks since the last one and not everyone is always going to be pleased with the time chosen.

just remember its dinner and a drive not a space shuttle launch roll up for a couple of hours catch up then do whatever afterwards.

burnside carpark is fine; ive had many cruises there with no problems at night... police are scarce around there and most don't care...

clean(ish) cars in a well lit area doesn't look dodgy.

few weeks away now but as long as the turnout is good the wait will be worth it. So this will now be a cruise and dinner on the 10th of april (didn't realise it was even easter long weekend on the 3rd)

Well our trip up the river has been canned... So I could potentially make it now. Car won't get to regency till tues morning but could get a permit and bring it, is that advisable tho? Worst case I could ride shotgun with Luke in his white fc? Thoughts? ;)

if the car has been fixed and you have a time booked at regency sometimes the cops will inspect it for you and give you a letter so you can drive it untill your appointment

am sad to say I just got a call from Luke to say he is having issues with his car and some boosting problems, and would rather have it properly looked at before driving it again. So there goes my ride... :( won't be able to make it... f&$k!
