Hello, this is a strange (and probably controversial) request I know, but does anyone have a MRE tuned Microtech installed into standard ECU for FC 13BNA/Turbo just "laying around"? Perhaps in an immobile vehicle or old spare part.

The reason is; in regards to thread (Problem: FC NA, Hesitation/No fire - S.A.Rotors Forums) my car (standard 13B NA) is sitting at Mildrens at a stand still, waiting on options to turn up. They are still thinking of pointing me down the 'install Microtech, find problem, fix problem' route.

I am coming off the back of purchasing my first home, so as you can appreciate, I am very tight in regards to money, so this is not a current option.

They have asked me if I knew anyone that could 'lend' their Microtech to them to install into the factory harness/loom and to properly diagnose where the fault is coming from and hopefully fix it. As you may well know, the standard ECU is a bit on the caveman side.

If you could help me/them in any way, please could you contact Greg at Mildrens on either email greg@mildrens.com.au or ph 8443 8299, or perhaps PM me so I could get this fixed asap.

I have been without my car on and off for about 6 months ish, so i reckon a few of you guys would know how I am feeling!

Please, if anyone has any thoughts, do not hesitate to voice them.

Thank you in advance SAR community.

mate i'd love to help out but dont have microtech lying around. a mate of mine has digi 1 microtech fuel only he's not using i could get you but doubt that will help right??

listen i might be stating the obvious here (not sure what repore or deal/prices you get from mildrens) but if your cars been sitting there for months and they can't work out whats wrong with it, have you thought of taking it elsewhere??? i understand money is a concern for you so that may be the reason.

This is true. They are kind of 'doing me a favour' by having there and doing spot work on it at no charge (rework), so yeah, kinda torn a bit.

I would like to take it elsewhere, if only they could fix it right away, thats the risk.

I have faith they can find it, but they seem to be just waiting at this late stage.

It sucks massive balls to not have a car, knowing its only a simple fix away.

I might think hard about taking off their hands though...

I have a brand new microtech LT16 with the tune for a 2jz on it; if you really need to borrow a microtech we can talk :P

That is, if it is helpful for you...

Thanks, but I am after one that has been fitted by Mildrens to an FC into a standard ECU.
I am not sure how useful a 2jz tuned one would be, but it may still be an option.
