So how the hell do you become a moderator around here? Do you just have to own an FD? Or have not supported the club in the past whatsoever??
I don't want a moderators position, but I do feel there are others out there that have committed more to the club when it was alive that should get a mod position over some of those selected.

Well Eros, owning ANY Rotor would be a start I guess.. :)
I want to mix it up a bit, bring some new blood in, and there's no point in having a thousand mods, is there?
Like I said before, this is a completely new start, let's see how it pans out hey?

Who exactly is your problem with Eros?
It's either myself or James (vortex), or both. Personally, i was very interested in helping the club out when i first came back, but when the club had no intention of supporting the interests i had, i decided to not worry about being involved with a club. It was a huge amount of work when i was with RENEW, but there was reward for that involvement.
Perhaps SAR should go back to the club it was? With a dwindling membership base, and a pathetic turn out to any event, with the only exception being the annual cruise. Not to mention usually having usually less than 5 cars (SAR based cars) rock up to the modern regs. Being run by the same people, doing the same events and getting the same disappointing turn out it always got? Its no surprise the club ended up where it did.
After Austin 7 severed ties and the site closed, the previous crew couldn't even organise a website!!! It took Dave i think an hour or so to get this happening.
So i struggle to see your point....
Correct me if i am wrong, but do you even own a rotor presently?

Brad, firstly my problem is with the both of you, I can't give you the satisfaction of being the only one. Back when the club needed support from all members yourself and vortex amongst others were nowhere to be seen. When we needed numbers for SCS displays or other events, yourselves amongst others decided to spit in Sanjay's and all the other members faces. You turned your backs on us because you couldn't get your way, do you take your bat and ball home every time someone doesn't play by your rules??
For the both of you to do this and then get given a moderators position on the new website to me is considered blasphemy especially when there are others out there (who may not realise this site is back up and running) who deserve those positions before the both of you for example people like Sanjay, James and a whole list of others the length of my arm. For your information Sanjay did enquire with the Austin7 committee about joining the marquee sports club to do sprints, but the committee decided against it, not SAR.
Same goes with your second paragraph, for you to now come on here and criticise every piece of work, every hour put into the club in the past is just weak. For someone with more experience and maturity than the rest of us, you could have offered your help and advice but chose not to because once again you didn't get your way.
The control of the website if I recall correctly was handed over to Nic (NMC) by Dave after he left. The failure of the website was out of our hands.
As for the cheap shot, for as long as I can remember SA Rotors is a club for Rotary Enthusiasts, so owning or not owning a rotor was never a problem, until recently that is.

haha, ok, i displayed my car with rory's at the first event. Then it became apparent to me SAR wasn't the sort of club for me, so i decided to not be a part of it, plus i had other things in my life that took priority. I never "spat in sanjays face" as you so eloquently put it. Sanjay and i are actually really good mates, so don't try to play that card. But yes, if shit doesn't suit me, and i can't see it changing, i don't hang around. I'm not someone to sit there and whinge that shit is the way it is and do nothing about it. Also, why would someone new want to come in and be involved when someone like you just has a whinge about it? Its people with your attitude that will mean SAR will never change from what it was. I even attended a few club meetings, what i saw, there weren't many people, other than Sanjay, that did more than just sit around and talk shit.
Also, check up the meaning of blasphemy.
Sorry i didn't commit more to the club when i came back, and sorry that it seems you feel almost slighted by this. As i said, priorities. Personally, i don't see contributing as sitting around talking shit, being present and then not doing anything. But I offered to those involved to feel free to ask for help/advice should they ever need it.
Don't take things so personally. But the time i was here to see SAR, all i saw was a dwindling club that wasn't going anywhere and wasn't a reflection of the growing popularity of the Mazda Rotary. Asking if you owned a rotor wasn't a cheap shot, its the truth right?
Also, seriously, its an internet forum, for which Dave has given me super awesome moderator powers, OMG, how was such an amazing thing ever bestowed up on me?! Seriously, grow up. Its people like you, who make others just not want to be involved in this immature bullshit and will mean SAR will always remain the pathetic club it was. Sorry to see you got sand in your vagina over this, but i can't be bothered with this bullshit. I'm out.

Im with gotorx7, lets just see how it turns out. He's a mod now, which personally i think is a good decision.
I dont know brad at all, but from what i can gather, he's the sorta bloke you want on your side. Does heaps of work on his car/s and gets out and arund the racing/rotary/cars community.
In the end tho, who cares, as long as the people assigned do there job i suppose...

Snoore...........................
This gets bashed around on every forum.
All we need is for this to run (and continue running) smoothly. At the end of the day, the demise of any forum is down to the pants pissers that frequent the place, not the mods who try to find you some new underwear and mop the floor.

Come on guys,
There is no need to keep this going.
There have been words said and the two people have since refrained from saying any thing else.
Please refrain from any more bickering in the threads, we dont want to be banning anyone.
