After the success of last years event, this year has been extended to three rounds and changes to the rules/regs have been made to align the event with Superlap in terms of rules and classes.

Lakeview Chiropractic won the tuner house series championship last year, and this year has extended its team to three FD's. Big thanks to our sponsors;

Your support would be greatly appreciated and it usually makes for a great day for spectators with full pit access and plenty of track action.

possibly you could post up some actual information about the event rather than just a link to another website. saves people reading the wrong information and getting dates or times mixed up.
if you can get the info off this pdf it would help
http://gsr-evo-club.net/documents/track-day/Phillcom%20Rally%20Time%20Attack%20FAQs.pdf

but from what i gather, its march 8th and the location of the event is just outside of mallala????

i also recognise martin donnans name involved, he's a reporter for fast fours or high performance imports isn't he ????
and thats your new car in the top picture isn't it?? i saw a feature somewhere on it i reckon. is that the same fd as before or a whole new car??

I can confirm that it is the same car (not the same street going FD Brad had though), it was covered in matte black vinyl all over, a job well done by Heath and folks at Glowridaz (Dri and Shine) in Lonsdale, I was there in one Sat arvo seeing them finishing up the car, looked super nice.

If you find a link hard to work, you might find getting to the track even harder!

What you linked was for entrants.

If you checked the thread i linked, its pretty clear on what date it is.

LOL

Settle down champ. I'm sure you are a smart enough individual and i am sure your driving ability is great. You should consider entering, there are still spots available.

I'd like to enter a track day hopefully this year, what do you need to do to get out on the track? is it open to anyone?

PS; congrats on beating the GT3's time!!!

Nice one. you were in the White FD ?

yeah mate that was me, got a quick-enough time in the first round and left it in the shed for the day :D

I'd like to enter the next track day, what do you need to do to get out on the track? is it open to anyone?

Usually you need a CAMS licence ($100/yr L2S), CAMS Affiliated Club membership ($50/yr), Fire Extinguisher mounted securely and a Blue Battery Triangle sticker.

MCSA affiliated clubs are good to join (Nissan/Datsun is one), they have a good number of events throughout the year. I'm with Porsche club and they're good too, they have their own events every couple of months also. Also good to beat Porsches on the track too :)

Doesn't look like I'll be going on the track again any time soon, moving house soon and then planning on building a dedicated track car.

Very bloody lucky I should say :)

Great effort by the way, I though you'd be quick, but not that quick :)

I wonder how fast mine would be with a decent driver? lol
