Hi everyone..

I'm Dave..

I've had my Series 4 Turbo 'vert for 11-12 years now, and my Series 7 for about 8 years.

I'm thinking of buying this - what do you think? Can't see a 13b pulling it unfortunately, but it will make a great towcar :)

Is that a silver shadow? Nice car, and usually cheap. I considered getting one (for pimp value LOL!) but I heard they are a bitch to fix and parts are expensive.

In any case, what appealed to me, besides the obvious "I drive a REAL car" factor was you could hire it out as a wedding/chauffered vehicle and get your money back over a few years or so!

It's a Shadow 2 actualy [nose in air]

It has been used as a Wedding car in Sydney for a few years, used at some high-profile weddings too Smile

I'm going to put it on historic Rego, and use it for Club events..

I ended up not buying the Roller.. Upon inspection it wasn't in quite as good condition as the owner said :(

So still looking for the right one..

On a brighter note, the FC is registered and running again.

I spent several days getting it ready for an Austin 7 run, and when I took it for a test drive the radiator and a heater hose gave up the ghost.

So now sporting a nice new triple-core Aluminium Radiator, new hoses etc..

Just got back from a bit of a drive, and it seems to be running cooler than previously, the temp guage barely lifts off the stop now. Will be interesting to see how it goes in the warmer weather!
