EOI : SA Rotors Silly Season BBQ.

Hey SA Rotorheads

The date will be on Sun the 13th so hopefully the people that have to work on Sat can come too.... Start rocking up from 11.30am onwards for Lunch.

There is gonna be a couple of spit roasts of a pig, lamb, and chicken for everyone to dig into!!! Plus you can bring what you like too for the barby as I will prob only be putting a few snags on.





How does it sound?

It's a good time of year to chuck a bar-b and get all of us together as a community and most of all just have some well deserved fun.

If your rotorised or not it dosent matter bring your family, smile, meats and beer.

It will be held at 77a Rundle Rd Salisbury South, the workshop is fully air cond and there is a nice park behind us where people can take their children to play or a bit of cricket for everyone if there is plenty of energy flowing around that day. It is an industrial area with minimal traffic passing by.

Was also thinking it may be nice to honour those that have contibuted to the club the most over the past year so that they can be recognised for their efforts with a simple certificate, small trophy or gift vouchers for Autobarn or something.

Thinking either Sat 12th or Sun 13th of December.

My lights arent currently working, Dave reckons it might be un-earthing in my rear bar, if I get that fixed in those two days inbetween then I'll be going to the annual charity cruise at around 4.30, would be cool if a few rotars came along to that aswell.

Last time we had a full lamb spit it was from the butcher at Wattle Park... might be a bit far to go but it was amazing...

Another good place is the organic meat store on Magill road (just near Breaker street)... extremely high quality ;D

Got a Lamb for the spit and some pork too.... only whole pigs that were there was 60kg lol a bit big I think so boneless legs it is!!!

The bar-b will be fired up as well with chicken wings and stuff on it so bring some meat for it if you like. We havent done any salads so if you can bring salads or any other nibbles you like would be great and whatever drinks you would like too.

sorry guys, left for victor at 11.30 got back to my house at 2.30 so probably could have come down but after a 3 hour round trip to look at a set of rims with a dented flat spot in them i wasn't much in the mood. I'l make it up next time. sounds like i missed out though.
