Hi all, thought I would start early in the lead up for the 2009 Murray Bridge Autofest remembering its now only 3 months away.
Booked our accommodation recently and was again surprised when the booking office told me that 53 boats have already been booked so for those wanting accommodation I would suggest you get in now.
The Murray Bridge Council, Police and SA Government have all been working together with us to again improve future plans and all is looking great.
Some of the things put on the table were, improved public safety, security, more Shade and more marketing Murray Bridge as a destination
Anyone with IDEA`S on how to improve what we do don’t be shy, let us know and we will see what we can do.

ENTRY FORMS are available now at Outlaw Speed Shops in Adelaide, Mount Barker Autobarn, Sprint Auto Parts Murray Bridge or at our website www.autofest.com.au (http://www.autofest.com.au)
ENTRANT PRICE remains at the early bird price if entry forms are picked up at these locations; just get one of the team to sign the form.
Unregisted cars, we have a deal in place to cover us for unregisted cars, this is very limited and all cars must be neat and tidy, pass the scrutineering and pay a $80.00 insurance waiver also payable at scrutineering.

People are asking similar questions regarding the Murray Bridge event so rather than just replying to those we thought we would share the answers here as well.
1. Is it to late to enter? No you can enter right up to close of scrutineering which is 2.00pm Saturday 23rd Jan.

2.Does the car need to be registed? No but you m...ust have at minimun a SA event permit which is availble at any motor reg deptment.

3.Is it to late to enter the win a ride competion? No you may enter at www.autofest.com.au up until Friday 22nd Jan.

4. Does the early bird entry still availble? Yes but you must get either Sprint Auto Parts Murray Bridge or either of the Outlaw Speedshops in the City to sign of your entry form which are also availble at the website.

5. Does the early bird discount cover Show N Shine entry fee? No this fee is already discounted.

6. What does Show N Shine entry allow me to compete in? Show N Shine, Dyno, Street Parade, Stereo Comp but no competitive driving events.

Meet At Castle Plaza 8.30am Saturday 23rd Jan for a 9.00am start.
· Exit Left out of Castle Plaza onto South Rd and follow
· Veer left at overpass to turn RIGHT underneath Overpass onto Cross Rd
· Follow Cross Rd to top of hill
· Turn Right onto the South Eastern FREEWAY (M1)
· Please observe speed limits, follow the freeway to Murray Bridge
· Exit Left onto Princes Highway/Adelaide Rd from freeway to get INTO Murray Bridge
· Follow all the way in to town
· Turn right at Seventh St, (2nd right after Swanport Rd)
· Follow all the way, this turns into Sturt Reserve Rd.
· You will see ENTRY GATE. Please group up here to obtain directions to VIP parking with your discounted entry for the day.

Stay for the weekend. Sunday involves a HUGE street parade for all the cars. Perhaps just take in the sights of Murray Bridge.
