Hey guys, im in the market at the moment to buy another rotor. Now seeing as there isnt much im interested in locally, ive been looking interstate. Im looking at getting another first gen. Now this is where my questions begin.
To get through ID check at regency what are the requirements???

Does the car have to be stock?
Are carby mods ok? IDA weber etc

Obviously it will need to be under the DB limit but will it need to be running a Cat converter or are they pre cat regulations?

does it have to be running an airpump?

Is porting ok... looking at a few bridgeys :P

would the car have to still be a 12a or is a transplant 13b ok?

obviously the car will need to be standard height and quiet enough to pass the DB test, it was just the other questions i wanted to clear up.
I just want to know whether to buy something stocko or go for something thats had some work already done.

At the end of the day id like a hassle free ID and numbers check instead of a full regency inspection.

or am i wasting my time looking interstate and should just wait till something local comes up???

Any help is massivly appreciated :)

Thanks and keep brapping :)
Isaac

get your ID check done at sturt, they'll do a basic inspection so just make sure it isn't obviously defectable and you'll get through fine.
maybe put some stockies on it, raise it if it is too low, and take anything shiny out of the engine bay
