after being defected for a solid month now because of some surface rust, i need to paint some spots on my car, only problem is i dont have a paint code under my engine bay, only chassis number..... also want to paint a kit that i will put on later
never seen this colour either on any rx7 soo cant find anyone with the same colour
so if anyone knows the paint code to it or anything close that would be swell
heres the colour
its hard to see in the picture, but its a light blue, almost like a metallic baby blue

Not sure exactly what colour yours is but if you arent sure, ring Reynella mazda parts dept with your Vin number, they should be able to tell you.

How big an area do you need to paint? do you have a compressor and a gun?
You'll need to get the colour match pretty good these days i hear, I know a bloke who took a repairable write off though and was knocked back because the colour match on the bumper wasn't good enough. I saw it and it wasn't that bad, I've seen cars come back from painters with similar matches...

if your getting the repairs done by a crash shop, they will find the colour for you.
if youre going to have a crack yourself take your car and possibly a carton of beer and ask them to colour match it up for you.if you use a good crash shop that uses glazurit paint they will have a profi system on the paint room wall.this system is the glazurit whole coloir range sprayed out onto credit card size samples and organised into different shades.
there are thousands of colours to choose from, but because the way this system is organised they can find it quite easily.
if your car is a factory colour it will definately be there,if its been resprayed before there will be something very close
I recomend DYNAMIC PAINT AND PANEL- 17 magill rd,stepney,8362 7395.
Cos the owner or Steve my brother can both help you
good luck

just read your last post, one inch by one inch, fuck you must have pissed the cops right off.if thats all you need get Dynamics to mix it up for you and you can touch it up yourself, but if you want your kit done also im pretty sure they wont sell you the paint, just fit it up yourself so youre happy with it,then get the crash shop to paint it properly for you and then you can fit it yourself and save some money that way.
just a thought
cheers
