left to right movement over bumps s4?

i have s4 turbo fc when i go over bumps the car seems to dart either side quickly? what could this be?

Was about to write the same thing! Lol! I'll add stuffed tie rods, ball joints, shocks etc... take it to a suspension joint, get em to check it out!

Mine used to dart about when steady driving straight. Turned out to be mismatched springs and shocks.

Also try jacking up each wheel at a time and wiggle them about. If they clunk its (normally) bushes.

If steering seems to get heavier or looser when turning it could be alignment. But sounds like you need this anyways. Alignments cost $50 or so, & take about 30mins including waiting. If you do go, talk to the guys BEFORE they do it or you'll just end up with shitty aligment settings that are used to increase tyre life, and not handling. Tell em you want it setup properly. I had to go back coz they put toe-in on the fronts and was a piece of shit when turning angry :)
