Electronic Speedo Sender

Hi All,

Wondering if anyone knows if the fd rx7s (manual) had electronic speedo senders on them?

Next thing is, if they do, would they be a direct fit into the series 4 turbo 5 speed box?

I am thinking of using an electronic Autometer speedo & I'm needing to work out whether I use the hall effect sender that Autometer make to fit the GM style trans (& adapt it), or use something that will fit with less hassle.

Any help would be appreciated,

Should be fine...FD looks like normal speedo drive,with gear drive to spline into box,
but with electrical sender on the end...
so should fit FC bok ok?
99% sure...so like the TV add's...

And i just worked out that my rx8 uses the wheel speed sensor for the abs for the speedo...completly usless info for you,but hey...lol

If you've got one out, do you reckon you could send me a picture of it with a couple of dimensions (total length into the box, diameter, no of teeth etc) & I'll compare it to the series 4 drive that I've got.

Was about to say just drop down to your local rota shop....
