I have a haltec f9 ecu with injection perfection system with 2 filter socks covering my throttle body.Would it be better to put on a k&n oval filter to make it look more stock.Im running castrol tts premix oil,its a bit fumey and has a great smell but what will regency think of it coz i do need a emision report before a go to regency. Can anyone let me know where i can get a mission report done. Also will my solid front disc be and rear drums be good for my 13b injected rotary.Rx2 has stock solid front discs and rear drums is that correct. Will i be fine with this brake set up.

I think they check for the oil metering pump lines. The aftermarket is illegal unless it's engineered, but I think 12a n/a to 13b is perfectly legal with stock brakes. What are you having the inspection for? Is it defected?

You'll have a hard time passing with the injection, I'd be more inclined to bang the stock carby on it. Just pull the computer out and hide as much of the wiring as possible under the dash and if they ask tell them you've taken it out and not gotten around to pulling the rest of the wiring out yet.

i reckon the inspection is for sa rego as he bought it from qld. I didn't think you had to have an inspection for interstate transfer unless it was an import (vehicle not sold in australia) and all they want to check is engine and chassis number? doesn't mean it would be legal on sa roads, just able to be regoed on sa roads.

Then get a friend to register it in the country. Then he'll only have a police officer Lookin at numbers, not a regency inspector Lookin at everything else. Then change the car into his name. One extra change of name, but no regency to worry about.
