hey guys,
ages ago I found a site that had reasonably priced (ie not mazda priced) turbo gaskets, but I can't remember what it was.
Does anybody know somewhere that has them cheap? Is it alright to use non-genuine ones?
on another note, I heard that there was a spark plug that was much cheaper than the actual rotor ones but still works fine, does anyone know the code for them?

Whats it for? FC?
I usually get the NGK BUR7EQ and BUR9EQ plugs, can get through motor traders/bursons or repco etc
I always use genuine mazda gaskets so not sure where to get aftermarket ones..

yeah the FC.
i run the BUR7EQ and BUR9EQ but they are pretty expensive and i've heard there is a much cheaper plug that does the same job
its best to stick with quality parts for stuff like this, it'll be cheaper than a rebuild

yeah the FC.
i run the BUR7EQ and BUR9EQ but they are pretty expensive and i've heard there is a much cheaper plug that does the same job B8EGV or B9EGV fits i think but then you will need a machined down socket and they are still expensive..
I run B8 and 9 egv for street work but when using the car for track work i run 10 egvs all round.
Never had a problem depends how much boost and horsepower you are making

just running stock boost at the moment, but after the turbo gets replaced i'll be running a bit more to get up to about 200rwkw
sockets have been machined down but if they aren't much cheaper then i'll just get the proper ones.
i was thinking of getting gaskets from motormate/sprints/repco/etc, just want to make sure that they aren't going to blow instantly
for that sort of power i would just run 4x trailing plugs what ever they are BUR9EQ i think
