Hey everyone!

My name is James, I’ve been a member on sarotors for a few years now, but never really posted much at all. I recently bought a s2 rx7 for a project/weekender after not having a rotor in two years. Here are some pics...

I plan to respray it and do a few things in time, look forward to meeting you all at a club meet up one day.

Unfortunately we arent actually a "club" any more so we dont have meetings.
However, we do organise some cruises every now and again :)

the wheels are definitely different, i dont mind them. I remember seeing them on a yellow RX4 that was for sale, some connection there???

yeah that guy is a mate i bought them off, they were on his brown 929 also before it got written off. i believe they are a 4wd style wheel.

nice way to make me feel like a lazy prick! i've struggled to put an engine in a month and a half! looking good!

nice work james. huge task taking it back to a skeleton. so whats the end game, neat streeter or an immaculate sunday cruiser???
i wouldnt know where to stop once i saw the freshly painted shell, new nuts bolts rubbers. i had a mate that had an immac s1 rx7 painted that colour, look sweet as. goodluck with it are you doing all the paint and panel your self???

cheers mate. weekender machine, trying to force myself not to be to fussy, getting all new rubbers for it, then see what happens interior wise.. thinking full trim job. yeh doing it all myself (spraypainter) with help from the old man and some mates. ill try post up pics as i make more progress.

It's kinda On the back burner until I piss a few other jobs off. Haven't put it back together since I painted it. Heaps keen to drive it again, just gotta find the time.
