Hey all.

Just wondering if anyone has any info on getting there hoodlining done
and whether or not I need to get it done before I get my front and rear
windscreens done and also the best place to do it.

Cheers!

i also need headlining done for my rx2. it will have to be done with front and rear windows out. can probably get around not having to take glass out but it would eventually sag and look like crap, and because of the complications in doing the job you might as well get it done right the first time. reason being all the fabric goes underneath all your rubbers then excess gets cut off behind, which couldn't be done with glass in place. late model cars have like a thick board which the fabric goes onto then that thick board is attatched to the roof as one piece, i think even late model cars need their glass to come out so the board can be slid in through the window opening as one piece.

as for who can do it try these guys

S.A. Motor Trimming Centre
10-12 Opala Street REGENCY PARK SA 5010

they did alot of the show rotors from back in the day. give them a call and they might have a way of doing it without taking the glass out which would save you a big headf$%k.

phils rotaries have an ebay shop and make alot of replacement new parts such as brand new vinyl door trims for rx2 coupes and sedans. they make brand new headlining kits for rx3's and 808's but so far not for rx2's.

Speaking from experience just get your old one replicated by a trimmer, you will just waste time trying to find one pre made. And def need your windows out.

Probably cost around $250 to get made then another $250 on top to install
