looking for a tuner or someone that can tune a haltech f9a on a 12A turbo motor?? needs a re-tune and no one wants to touch the haltech f9a's anymore????? asked mildrens and boostworx so far...they wont toch them??? they say you need older type laptop with windows 98 with com port.. and need haltech software F9v3.5
anyone that can help please let me know??????? much appreciated justin

that's a bugger.. Boostworx did my Vert last time, but that was a long time ago..

yeah shaun and mildrens have newer laptops these days and they cannot connect with these old model haltechs.....they said id have to buy new computer...or find a old laptop with windows 98 with com port to connect.... so i really need to find someone that has a old laptop with all that....even if i could borrow for the day i pay them for the use... or need to find some one who can tune that has all that i need????? any suggestions anyone???????????

Clint used to do a lot of Haltech work from back in the DAT days and I think his Walky is running an older Haltech (or was). Might be able to help you out.
P.S. V3.5 is the older F9 software and is matched to the serial number. You can run some older Haltech software in DOS on XP if you use Dosbox or similar program and configure to work. If using a USB to d9 converter it will need to be setup correctly in device manager and Haltech will need to look for the configured port.
I've had it sucessfully run on XP.
