Hey guys, just bought a series 5 with a few mods, so I'm keen to meet up with a few guys and also have a few questions about the car.
Here's the carsales ad link with some pics and mods list: http://www.carsales.com.au/all-cars/private/details.aspx?R=6974514
I'll be getting some better photos tomorrow night.

Interior is a bit shabby but I'll fix that up, the main thing I want to get fixed is the temp gauge. The stock one isn't connected, since it had an aftermarket one fitted and that was taken out when the car was sold. Can i connect the stock one back up? I'll need to get a sender for it but I'm not sure if it will work since I've got a microtech.
The fuel gauge has also stopped working (was working before), but I'm going to take the dash out and have a look at that, probably just a dodgy plug or cracked soldering.
Car has a bit of hesitation coming on boost but boostworx are going to fix that when it goes in for a service, other than that the car runs beautifully.

I'm on nissansilvia with the same username, previous cars were:
N13 nissan pulsar
S14 nissan 200sx
SW20 toyota mr2 GT

i had an after market autometer one flush mounted in the dash of my s4, alot more accurate than the factory one. from memory there was a sensor point in the top of the thermostat housing which i used. i may have had the thread tapped though. just have a look then there will be an adaptor in the pack that comes with the guage you buy to fit that thread in the thermstat housing. thats if you want to go with a new guage. sorry cant help with actory wiring diagrams. Because you've got microtech screw all that and buy yourself the handset
worth every cent and will give you
digital temp reads
digital rev meter
exhaust temp
timing information
you can get this from most efi shops, i got mine when mark from madaz installed my microtech
goodluck with your car and will see you round:)

Welcome to the forum! what a nice FC you have! I noticed the massive doof doof on the rear parcel shelf :D, cool stuff!

If you are keen to meet up some people, the next possible chance would be at Glorida's Open Day on 2nd August with free BBQ and drinks, check out Event section and rsvp with Joe if interested. Cheers.
