hey guys an girls, just been thinking and boy did it hurt....given the recent floods in QLD an Victoria whats the chance of some 'flooded' cars coming out from the wood work you think??
i wonder if in a while we might see some cheap water damaged rotas or other collectable cars coming onto the market??
i remeber watching all the footage an seeing a LC GTR Torana siting in a guys front yard, looked imacualte untill it went for its drink and belt around his yard bashing into trees an stuff.
be interesting to keep an eye out on ebay an the like, something interesting might come for sale.

nothing like 1,000,000,000 litres of water to wash the dust off a shed car!! i'd be keeping well away from cheap cars coming out of flood damaged areas for a long time (especially on ebay!!) where ever someone can rip someone off to make a buck they will, and there will be alot of ex flood cars bought at auction, giving a clean up and sold to unsuspecting mugs like you or i that will have a lifetime of problems with water damaged electrics (and fish in doortrims)

heres a pretty cool site, wait for the page to load and drag the black bar on the right of the pics to the left and it gives a before and after version from a helicopter view. devastation.

capella re, i thought i would just put this up to see peoples thoughts. i am very very picky as to what i buy, and as you said 'giving a clean up and sold to unsuspecting mugs like you' i dont want to start a shit fight but that comment was outa line, as you dont know me or my back ground etc etc.
i dont wanna step on peoples toes but what you said was not cool. we are all here to appreiciate the love of rotarys not to see who has the biggest kahunas.
