Hey guys,
'Touge Alliance' has organised a fairly relaxed cruise, coming up next weekend.
Meet place: McDonalds Tea Tree Plaza.
When: Sunday the 22nd of August.
Time: 9am.
Where to: Port Elliott: scenic route, around 250km's worth lol.
No dangerous/hoon behaviour will be accepted, as this is simply a chance for us to get out and enjoy our cars.
Thanks, Jesse.
Im already booked for gourmet weekend in the barossa

C'mon guys, come join my car club in a casual cruise south...
#1 rule of the Touge Alliance car club is that all members must believe that rotary engines are the best.
And the weather is even meant to be ok on sunday, well so they say at the moment...

I want a reliant robin.
Make sure you put on learner wheels, as your cruise buddies would be sick of helping to turn it back on wheels at every turn!
I don't think I have the stamina for 250km trip that early in the morning... probably 300+ from where I live, may be next time :S

Sorry Jesse... next time! and hopefully the route will be shorter.
I went to Ardrossan for cruise early in the year, kinda like a mystery cruise, only realised where I was going halfway but it was too late to head back, clocked 400km that night... bored the crap out of me cos it's just too long, I'll need a blow-up doll as company at least for anything over 150km...

it was worth going, definitely... it did get a bit long though, I was very tired by pt. elliot and totally destroyed by the time we had twisties near lobethal :)

Good to hear... were you in your monster? or with Christian?

neither, actually! I was riding with a mate in his s14 ;D
the monster is still missing key organs and won't be able to terrorise anyone until i've got the time and money to complete it...
I need:
Radiator that fits
oil cooler lines
fuel lines
sort out my clutch master cyl. (which at this stage means an in-cabin forward facing cyl. pedal box... no more brake booster :D)
so yeah...
it IS finally close.
enough rambling... great cruise! come to the next one Ket!

Couldn't have picked a better day to go for a drive, beautiful weather but a shame about all the slowwwwww traffic in the hills... We came across atleast 5 learners and a whole load of old people... what a shame... :-(
Good to see 3 rotors out there tho, pitty there were so many no-shows, guess thats part of having an early sunday cruise.

Yeah, I wanted to take it out as frequently as I could, but hope the next one won't be as long a trip as this one.
I'm wondered how on earth you get so tired being a passenger? Must be hard work... ;)
