Too easy...shoot me an e-mail with the finalised version of what you want and will get the printer cranking...Tax payers dollers goin to good use!!

jess, see if you can included a run up the mt alma mile...if not too far outa the way...
I might even have the white FC done before then...had a mad moment of motivation on the weekend (black douglas assisted!) wired it up and done the cooling side of things...just gotta dump pipe it to micks and knock up an exhaust...

Thought the only difference between ours and those in the pics are the stickers? lol :D

BTW, I have a few unwanted FD and FC laminated posters given to me by a car dude from other forum, I'm making room for my kid's drawings so they have to come off the wall, let me know if anyone is interested, I'll bring to the cruise, if not they'll go in the bin... I think they're about A1 size.

i'll change the date to the 11th (thanks james) and when jesse works out the route, he can fax it to lincoln or something. soon as we know where were going then we can decide what to eat or do i guess. (i will post up the jist of the run so people know what theyre up for)
try not to make it too much of a marathon run though as the north boys will already have travelled about an hour by the time we get to southgate. (i'll go to the kurrulta park meet)
AND FOR FARKS SAKE, NO DIRT ROADS!!!! i had to drive down one in the fd last weekend when i took a wrong side street on a road ryan showed me (i went over the stop sign just past that hotel thing, little side street thing not left or right!!)

and guys if you are keen yell out so when we get to the meets we know if were waiting for anyone :)

just a thought...and coz i'll watch any form of motorsport...why dont we cruz out to lalla and watch a bit of the G1? its on the 11th... stop at a country pub for lunch? just an idea...i'd rather cruz some place and see some action...

capella re
30-06-2010, 11:38 AM
i'm keen for whatever, if people would rather go out to mallala (so the meet points and times would just be reversed ie. kurrulta at 11am heading out north) i don't mind. if people would rather that and as linc said we'll grab lunch at the pub there.

let me know asap though before people get confused and annoyed with me for changing it again

jesse_RE

I've got a really good route which those who enjoy a 'spirited drive' would enjoy heading to victor. its about 2 1/2 hour drive from kmart kurralta park as the meet spot. Using some of the roads from the Adelaide hills Tarmac rally and avoiding victor harbour road apart from crossing over it, finishing in victor where we can get some lunch...

OR if anyone else is keen we can do as lincoln suggested and head out to the G1 drift at lala which would also be cool with me.

Simon, otherwise we could push it back 1 week to the 18th July? What does everyone think? havent had much feedback...

love to help you out, but on previous occasions where the date has been changed the turnouts poor as people seem to lose interest. we try and cater for everyone but i always lean to the regulars like ownage flex kusanagi jesse re kotter vortex gotorx7 etc that are almost guaranteed to show up so i dont end up standing by myself in some random carpark :)

i'l pm a few people and see where the interest lies with cruise then drifts or head opposite way down south.

AS AT THIS POINT, THE MEET IS STILL A CRUISE DOWN SOUTH PEOPLE. REMEMBER, THE FIRST POST WILL ALWAYS HAVE THE CURRENT STANDING DETAILS :) :)
ALSO MEET WILL STAY AT KMART KURRULTA 10AM REGARDLESS TOO SO NO ONE ENDS UP CONFUSED

jesse_RE
01-07-2010, 01:48 PM
Hey Jesse, Being that its on a sunday i would say $35.00 entry per person. Saturday's are the cheaper day about $30

I'm still leaning towards the victor cruise though.. looks like the weather should be ok that day according to this site: http://www.timeanddate.com/weather/australia/adelaide/ext its the only one i could find with a 14 day extended forecast. You could use the mallala entry fee on a parmy and a beer at the crown hotel victor :p (or a different hotel as i've just used that as a referance..)

good to hear.
well from the conversations i've had, its kind of leaning towards the south cruise as after this meet the weathers probably going to only get worse for the next two months so one last hoorah before the freezing weather sets in could be the go.
a few people have also said they have some stuff to do in the afternoon (hence why driving out to the drifts for an hour or so before having to go home doesn't suit) so jesse you may have to cut out some of the backway stuff for a more direct route so basically from kurrulta its a 2hr drive south to victor (or another reference point) then an expressyway job back (i'll give you a ring or something once i've had a chance to go through the map)

we can always do the drifts next time. keep your eyes on the first post for extra details but just remember, 10am kurrulta park meet the rest we'll work out as we get around to it.

I'm fine with Crown, only thing I'm concerned is parking, the only big enough car park for all of us is the shopping down the road, see pic. So we will have to walk a little.

Thats a bit far, i was thinking the car park by the kiosk/info centre opposite the reserve. You might just have to put some change in the ticket machine though. Theres usually a few parks in that area.

a few people are going to meet us along the way at the 3 meets points (rest stops) along the way.

less talk, more drilling and tell shaun i recently went to jenny craig thats why my clothes look so baggy

jesse's got the maps printed now (nice one mate)

after talking to another mate i rang the crown at victor to find out about lunch. as he told me the vics really busy on a sunday so we would need to book. if we dont make the numbers they would have a big sook so i said i can't guarantee the numbers (i expect half of us to break down on the way and some people still unsure) so therefore we'll probably have to eat elsewhere, didnt help saying i'd kidnap a fairy penguin from granite island either.

weather looks like we might just be lucky, few showers but no tornadoes like last night. looking like a huge turnout (including my old fc now too) so really hanging out for this.

big thanks to Simon and Jesse for organising a great day out.
NICE roads, pity about the amount of crap on the rd but not much you can do.
we were having a little chuckle in the car Simon, knew you wouldnt be happy to see me glued to your bumper the whole way haha We went a different way home and had very little traffic so got to push the EVO 10 a bit, very very impressive for a stock set-up.

Ok, here's the video I took on the day, sorry about the shaky hands as I skipped breakfast that day, and was pretty short due to busy chatting with some of you guys, youtube can only go 720p max.

Your B2200 was awesome :D Sounded great, and I bet you can sail right past cops and they don't even look twice :)

Odour of LPG in the air was surprising, too :)

Thanks mate,im happy with it at the mo,(needs more time on dyno) and has some wiring gremlins im working through....
But the police have had a couple of looks, engineers report and regency papers shuts them up pretty quick...

LPG stinks!! but only cost $230 in gas to eastern creek and back and freekin huge flames:quagmire:

OwnageFD, hope the missus wasnt holding you up in the vert...
