looking for something to do this weekend??? the scouts sa have their annual rally sa on. from mt barker in the adelaide hills to special night stages in angaston its all over the place and action packed.

Rally fever will hit South Australia when the Australian Rally Championship hits town on the 25th June – 27th June 2010, the circuits run through the picturesque Adelaide Hills, Barossa, Mount Crawford and Murrayland regions.

Rallying is widely regarded as the most exciting, dynamic and challenging form of motorsport. In rallying, both the crew and machinery are pushed to their limits, enduring the elements in the ultimate test of equipment and reliability. This spectacle has been the key to the strong and passionate following of the sport by thousands of motor sport enthusiasts.

if anyones thinking of going post up your interest so we can meet up there or something. the night special stage in angaston costs $10 per adult or $15 for both nights and thats 4 hours a night of racing, its also $20 for two adults 2 children a night or $30 for both nights, the rest is free to spectate as far as i can see.

Spewing Toyota dont sponsor this anymore, i used to get free tickets through work each year! Then sprint auto parts took over now its the scouts.

I'm keen simon, i used to watch from mt crawford forest stage but havent been in a few years. Night stage looks good though. My RX7 wont be on the road, might have to take the rally-olla ha ha

Ended up going up to mt crawford after i finished work today for a few hours. Only saw 1 rota competing but didnt have the camera ready in time so only got this one shot.

i dont know the owner but i remember the car (ithink) it had different wheels on it though. an older guy (like 40's or something owned it) won best paint and engine bay at a small car sunday once. think it was at an all jap day at the front corner of the reserve for sale for 21 grand. had a 13b extend from memory. owners got balls driving it in the mud!!!
