So my FC is coming to its final stages of the body repair and I havnt got any paint yet,
Im looking at keeping the standard color, Blaze Red (SQ). Anybody here a retailer, or any suggestions on where I should buy from. Needs to be willing to courier.

Thanks

Acrylic or 2-pac? I can mix paint at work. How many litres you want? Pm me your number and I'll call you with a price when I'm there on Saturday.

Please dont spray it in acrylic... Use 2pac, which you probably where anyway... Any crash shop could supply you with what your after and amount. Crash shop's will probably put money on top tho... I also doubt you'd be able to buy the straight colour from the tin. It would probably have to mixed up with tinters... Unless you wanted to buy the tinters and mix it yourself.(done by weight, i could get you the formula and what tinters are needed if you want?)

Try and use all the same brand stuff. Paint/thinners/hardner/clear.
All the best.

Yeh im after 2pac, Ive got the gear to construct a temp spray booth with extraction fans and understand the health risks of the paint. I live in the middle of the desert and dont generally have time to go into crash shops when i hit the town, hence why I thought I would try here.
Not really interested in mixing the color myself, although I could if required. Willing to pay honest prices not looking for anything cheap and nasty.

Try gettin' in contact with PPG, Spies hecker, Standox, Du Pont or any company.
Google is your friend...

Grab a number of a supplier here in S.A and give 'em a call. They may be able to a)send you the colour your after (They may pre-mix it and ship it for you at your request) OR b)supply the tinters needed to make the colour and they can give you the formula over the phone. If you buy the tinters you will def hav alot of paint leftover. As one tinter mite only use 100ml out of a 1-ltr tinter in the whole job(4+ltrs)...

If your still having problems with gettin your hands on some let me know and when im back at work(week or two, long story..) i'll try an organise something for you.

If need be.....

I spoke to the rep at my work. Should be no worries if you phone S.A Colour, tell 'em what colour you want and its code. They can mix you up however much you want and should be able to get it to you(can't see why not). Also let them know if your doing it as a solid or C.O.B(clear over base). That way you can hook up the thinners for your colour (and hardner if your doing a solid)plus clear, clear hardners and thinners(wont be needed if its solid) for your job.

Or... Ring an organise it for the next time your down and swing by and pick it up.
